PAREDI is governed by a Board of Directors composed of experts in pastoralist development, climate change adaptation, conservation, education, health, Finance and governance. The board provides strategic oversight and ensures that the organization adheres to its mission and values. The day-to-day operations of PAREDI are managed by an Executive Director, who is supported by a team of program managers, field officers, and administrative staff.
Dr. Geoffrey Lelenguyah is the Secretary and Founder of PAREDI. He is an Ecologist with specialization in Dryland Ecology and Pastoral Livelihoods and over 15 years experience in work related to natural resource management; range management, veterinary vectors control and management; wildlife ecology and research and pastoralism and pastoral livestock production systems. He comes from Samburu County and will be instrumental in overseeing PAREDI programmes implementation in this area.
Mrs. Fridah Koech is a graduate in Project Planning and Management and currently undertaking a degree in Business and Entrepreneurship. She has vast knowledge in project management, community development and resilience building activities spanning over 6 years. She comes from Samburu County and will also be instrumental in overseeing PAREDI programmes implementation in this area.
Mrs. Peninah Bariwan is a teacher by profession and holder of a Bachelor of Education with Information Technology degree. She has over 7 years experience in teaching and mentorship. She is also currently undertaking a masters degree in Psychology. She comes from Laikipia County and will be instrumental in overseeing PAREDI programmes implementation in this area.
Mr. Laban Labatt is a retired civil servant with over 30 years experience in livestock production, pastoral production systems, range rehabilitation, beekeeping and livestock marketing. He is a graduate of Natural Resource Management (Arid lands management option). He is also an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and Audit lead expert. He comes from Baringo County and will be instrumental in overseeing PAREDI programmes implementation in this area.
Mr. Abdullahi Wario is a retired civil servant with over 33 years experience in animal production, livestock marketing and range management. He is a graduate of animal production with vast knowledge in pastoralists resilience, conflict management and environmental conservation. He comes from Isiolo County and will be instrumental in overseeing PAREDI programmes implementation in this area.

PAREDI aims at improving the resilience of communities to drought and other effects of climate change in Samburu, Isiolo, Laikipia, Marsabit and Baringo counties.
